✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent me to find out for him news of a people, so I went, running, until I reached the people. Then I came back, walking at my normal pace, until I reached the Prophet ﷺ. He asked me and I informed him, and he said: You went quickly and then came back at your own pace - or as he said. I said: O Messenger of Allah, I disliked to run lest the people think that I was afraid. The Prophet ﷺ said: Sa'd is indeed experienced.
