حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُجَمِّعٍ قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

ثَلَاثَةٌ أُقْسِمُ عَلَيْهِنَّ: مَا نَقَصَ مَالٌ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ فَتَصَدَّقُوا، وَلَا عَفَا رَجُلٌ عَنْ مَظْلِمَةٍ ظُلِمَهَا إِلَّا زَادَهُ اللهُ عِزًّا فَاعْفُوا يُعِزَّكُمُ اللهُ، وَلَا فَتَحَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَابَ مَسْأَلَةٍ إِلَّا فَتَحَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ بَابَ فَقْرٍ

✧ Three things I swear by: no wealth is decreased by charity, so give charity; no man forgives an injustice done to him except that God increases him in honor, so forgive and God will honor you; and no man opens a door of begging upon himself except that God opens a door of poverty upon him.
