حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: نَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ - يَعْنِي: ابْنَ عُمَرَ - عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ احْتَجَرَ بِحَصِيرٍ، فَجَعَلَ يُصَلِّي، فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ خَلْفَهُ، فَقَالَ: أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَنْ يَمَلَّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَحَبَّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللهِ أَدْوَمُهَا وَإِنْ قَلَّ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ screened himself with a mat and began to pray, and the people began to pray behind him. He said: O people, take upon yourselves such deeds as you are able, for Allah does not grow weary until you grow weary. And know that the most beloved of deeds to Allah is the most constant, even if it is little.
