machine translationṢāliḥ b. Abī al-Akhḍar and Muḥammad b. Abī Ḥafṣah narrated this hadith from al-Zuhrī, from ʿUrwah, from ʿĀʾishah, like this. And Mālik b. Anas, Maʿmar, ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, Ziyād b. Saʿd and more than one of the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿĀʾishah, as a disconnected report (mursal), and they did not mention ʿUrwah in it. This is more authentic (aṣaḥḥ), because it was narrated from Ibn Jurayj who said: I asked al-Zuhrī, I said to him: Did ʿUrwah narrate it to you from ʿĀʾishah? He said: I did not hear anything about this from ʿUrwah, but I heard, during the caliphate of Sulaymān b. ʿAbd al-Malik, from some people, from someone who had asked ʿĀʾishah about this hadith.
