حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ، قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ مُسَافِعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ:

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً قَالَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: تَغْتَسِلُ الْمَرْأَةُ إِذَا احْتَلَمَتْ وَأَبْصَرَتِ الْمَاءَ ؟ فَقَالَتْ لَهَا عَائِشَةُ ؓ: تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكِ. قَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: دَعِيهَا، هَلْ يَكُونُ الشَّبَهُ إِلَّا مِنْ قِبَلِ ذَلِكَ ؟ إِذَا عَلَا مَاؤُهَا مَاءَ الرَّجُلِ أَشْبَهَ الرَّجُلُ أَخْوَالَهُ، وَإِذَا عَلَا مَاءُ الرَّجُلِ مَاءَهَا أَشْبَهَهُ

✧ A woman asked the Prophet ﷺ, 'Should a woman perform ghusl if she has a wet dream and sees semen?' ʿĀʾisha ؓ said to her, 'May your hands be soiled!' The Prophet ﷺ said to her, 'Leave her alone. From what else does resemblance come? When her fluid prevails over the man's, the child resembles his maternal uncles; and when the man's fluid prevails over hers, the child resembles him.'
