✧ Urwa b. al-Zubayr from Aisha

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، فَكَانَ يَبْدَأُ فَيَغْسِلُ مَا أَصَابَهُ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ يُخَلِّلُ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى جَسَدِهِ فَضْلَ مَائِهِ

Translation

✧ I and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bathe from a single vessel. He would begin and wash what had touched him, then perform his ablution for prayer, then pass his fingers through his head twice, then pour water over his head three times, then pour the remaining water over his body.
