حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، نَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
أَنَّ امْرَأَةً بَغِيًّا رَأَتْ كَلْبًا فِي يَوْمٍ حَارٍّ، يُطِيفُ بِبِئْرٍ قَدْ أَدْلَعَ لِسَانَهُ مِنَ الْعَطَشِ، فَنَزَعَتْ لَهُ مُوقَهَا فَسَقَتْهُ، فَغُفِرَ لَهَا

✧ A prostitute saw a dog on a hot day circling a well, its tongue lolling from thirst. She took off her shoe and gave it water, so she was forgiven.
