( أَخْبَرَنَا ) عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ( ح ) وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ النُّعْمَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَمْرٍو إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ السُّلَمِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حِصْنٍ الْغَنَوِيِّ حَدَّثَتْنِي سَرَّاءُ بِنْتُ نَبْهَانَ، وَكَانَتْ رَبَّةَ بَيْتٍ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ قَالَتْ:
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ: " هَلْ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا ؟ "، قَالَ: وَهُوَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي يَدْعُونَ يَوْمَ الرُّءُوسِ قَالُوا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: " هَذَا أَوْسَطُ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ، هَلْ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّ بَلَدٍ هَذَا ؟ ". قَالُوا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، قَالَ: " هَذَا الْمَشْعَرُ الْحَرَامُ ". ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنِّي لَا أَدْرِي لَعَلِّي لَا أَلْقَاكُمْ بَعْدَ هَذَا؛ أَلَا وَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ، وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ، وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ، كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا، حَتَّى تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ، فَيَسْأَلَكُمْ عَنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ، أَلَا فَلْيُبَلِّغْ أَدْنَاكُمْ أَقْصَاكُمْ أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ". فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ لَمْ يَلْبَثْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا حَتَّى مَاتَ ﷺ

Indeed, your blood, your property, and your honor are sacred to you, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this land of yours, until you meet your Lord, and He asks you about your deeds. Let the nearest of you convey to the farthest. Have I not conveyed?" Then when we came to Medina, he stayed only a short while until he ﷺ died.
