أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: جَنَاحُ بْنُ نَذِيرِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي السَّعْيِ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ: أَرَاكَ تَمْشِي وَالنَّاسُ يَسْعَوْنَ قَالَ: إِنْ أَمْشِي فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْشِي، وَإِنْ أَسْعَى فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَيَسْعَى وَأَنَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ
