أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عُبْدُوسٍ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ ابْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

إِنَّمَا سَعَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ؛ لِيُرِيَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قُوَّتَهُ
