أَخْبَرَنَاهُ ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ: الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ السَّعْدِيُّ بِمَرْوَ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ثَنَا سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، سَمِعْتُ مَرْوَانَ الْأَصْفَرَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ؓ قَدِمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ: " بِمَا أَهْلَلْتَ ؟ " فَقَالَ: أَهْلَلْتُ بِمَا أَهَلَّ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ: لَوْلَا أَنَّ مَعِيَ الْهَدْيَ لَأَحْلَلْتُ
