One day I became excited and kissed while I was fasting. So I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "I did something serious today: I kissed while I was fasting." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What do you think if you were to rinse your mouth with water while fasting?" I said: "There is no harm in that." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Then what is the problem?!"
