أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، وَغَيْرُهُ، قَالُوا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ؓ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ أَلْفًا وَخَمْسَ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فِي خَرِبَةٍ فِي السَّوَادِ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ: أَمَا لَأَقْضِيَنَّ فِيهَا قَضَاءً بَيِّنًا إِنْ كُنْتَ وَجَدْتَهَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ تُؤَدِّي خَرَاجَهَا قَرْيَةً أُخْرَى فَهِيَ لِأَهْلِ تِلْكَ الْقَرْيَةِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ وَجَدْتَهَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ لَيْسَ تُؤَدِّي خَرَاجَهَا قَرْيَةً أُخْرَى فَلَكَ أَرْبَعَةُ أَخْمَاسِهِ، وَلَنَا الْخُمُسُ، ثُمَّ الْخُمُسُ لَكَ
