"A boy was born to me tonight, and I have named him after my father Ibrāhīm." Then he gave him to Umm Sayf, the wife of a blacksmith in Medina, who was called Abū Sayf. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out to visit him, and I set out with him. We reached Abū Sayf while he was blowing on his bellows, and the house was filled with smoke. He said: So I hurried ahead of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, came to Abū Sayf and said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has come. Stop, stop!" So he stopped. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and called for the boy, held him close to himself, and said what Allah willed him to say. Anas said: I saw him before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was breathing his last, and the eyes of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shed tears. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The eye weeps and the heart grieves, and we say only what pleases our Lord. By Allah, O Ibrāhīm, we are indeed grieved for you."
