( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ، ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ أَبُو لُؤْلُؤَةَ لِلْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، قَالَ: فَصَنَعَ لَهُ خِنْجَرًا لَهُ رَأْسَانِ فَلَمَّا كَبَّرَ وَجَأَهُ عَلَى كَتِفِهِ، وَوَجَأَهُ عَلَى مَكَانٍ آخَرَ، وَوَجَأَهُ فِي خَاصِرَتِهِ فَسَقَطَ عُمَرُ ؓ
