أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا ابْنُ مِلْحَانَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي خَارِجَةُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ
أَنَّ أُمَّ الْعَلَاءِ امْرَأَةً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ قَدْ بَايَعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهُمُ اقْتَسَمُوا الْمُهَاجِرِينَ قُرْعَةً - يَعْنِي: فَطَارَ لَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَظْعُونٍ - أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي أَبْيَاتِنَا، فَوَجِعَ وَجَعَهُ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ، فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ وَغُسِّلَ وَكُفِّنَ فِي ثَلَاثٍ، دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْكَ أَبَا السَّائِبِ، شَهَادَتِي عَلَيْكَ، لَقَدْ أَكْرَمَكَ اللهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " وَمَا يُدْرِيكِ أَنَّ اللهَ أَكْرَمَهُ " قُلْتُ: بِأَبِي أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَمَنْ أَكْرَمَهُ اللهُ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَمَّا هُوَ فَوَاللهِ لَقَدْ جَاءَهُ الْيَقِينُ، وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو لَهُ الْخَيْرَ، وَاللهِ مَا أَدْرِي وَأَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ مَاذَا يُفْعَلُ بِي ؟ " فَقَالَتْ: وَاللهِ، إِنِّي لَا أُزَكِّي أَحَدًا بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا
