أَخْبَرَنَا ) الْإِمَامُ أَبُو الْفَتْحِ الْعُمَرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الشُّرَيْحِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
مَاتَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ ؓ وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا. فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَعِيدٍ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ: أَتُحَنِّطُهُ بِالْمِسْكِ ؟ فَقَالَ: وَأَيُّ طِيبٍ أَطْيَبُ مِنَ الْمِسْكِ ؟ هَاتِي مِسْكَكِ. فَنَاوَلَتْهُ إِيَّاهُ، قَالَ: وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يُصْنَعُ كَمَا تَصْنَعُونَ، وَكُنَّا نَتْبَعُ بِحَنُوطِهِ مَرَاقَّهُ وَمَغَابِنَهُ
