( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَدْلُ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، أَنْبَأَ شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ صِلَةَ قَالَ:

لَمَّا حَضَرَ حُذَيْفَةَ الْمَوْتُ، قَالَ: ابْتَاعُوا لِي كَفَنًا، قَالَ: فَأُتِيَ بِحُلَّةٍ ثَمَنَ ثَلَاثِمِائَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ دِرْهَمًا، فَقَالَ: لَا حَاجَةَ لِي بِهَا، اشْتَرُوا لِي ثَوْبَيْنِ أَبْيَضَيْنِ، فَإِنَّهُمَا لَنْ يُتْرَكَا عَلَيَّ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا، حَتَّى أُبَدَّلَ بِهِمَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُمَا، أَوْ شَرًّا مِنْهُمَا
