✧ The Sick Person Should Not Curse Fever Nor Wish for Death Due to Harm That Has Befallen Him, But Should Be Patient and Seek Reward

( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَحْمُوَيْهِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ بِالْأَهْوَازِ، ثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ الْقَلَانِسِيُّ، ثَنَا آدَمُ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ:

دَخَلْنَا عَلَى خَبَّابٍ، نَعُودُهُ، وَقَدِ اكْتَوَى بِسَبْعِ كَيَّاتٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ نَبِيِّنَا ﷺ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُوا مَضَوْا وَلَمْ يَنْقُصْهُمْ أَمْوَالٌ، وَإِنَّا أَصَبْنَا مَالًا لَمْ نَجِدْ لَهُ مَوْضِعًا إِلَّا التُّرَابَ، ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَاهُ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى نَعُودُهُ، وَهُوَ يَبْنِي حَائِطًا لَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ يُؤْجَرُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُنْفِقُهُ، إِلَّا فِي شَيْءٍ يَجْعَلُهُ فِي التُّرَابِ، وَلَوْلَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَانَا أَنْ نَدْعُوَ بِالْمَوْتِ لَدَعَوْتُ بِهِ.
