  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translational-Barqānī said: I asked al-Dāraquṭnī whether anyone other than al-ʿUmarī narrated it from Nāfiʿ by a route that is established. He said: No. Then he said: It has been narrated from Mālik from Nāfiʿ, but it is not established. End of quote.

  • Ibn Rajab

machine translationAmong its best (routes) is the hadith of ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar al-ʿUmarī from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar.

  • Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal

machine translationHe found it strange and said: I have never heard this. He also said: al-ʿUmarī raises it to the Prophet, whereas Mālik and Ibn ʿUyaynah do not raise it, meaning they stop it at Ibn ʿUmar as his own action. It was said to him: ʿUbaydullāh, meaning the brother of al-ʿUmarī, narrated it from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar. He denied it and said: Who narrated it? It was said to him: ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Muḥammad, meaning al-Darāwardī. He said: ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz narrates objectionable reports (manākīr).
