أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْبِرْتِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

كَانَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَمِيصٌ مِنْ حَرِيرِ يَلْبَسُهُ تَحْتَ ثِيَابِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ - ؓ: مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: لَبِسْتُهُ عِنْدَ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ
