أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْفَحَّامُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الذُّهْلِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ - مِنْ وَلَدِ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ - ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ الْكِنَانِيُّ ( ح ) وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، ثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الْأَحْدَبِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ:
خَطَبَنَا عَمَّارٌ ؓ فَأَبْلَغَ وَأَوْجَزَ، فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ قُلْنَا: يَا أَبَا الْيَقْظَانِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتَ وَأَوْجَزْتَ فَلَوْ كُنْتَ تَنَفَّسْتَ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ طُولَ صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَقِصَرَ خُطْبَتِهِ مَئِنَّةٌ مِنْ فِقْهِهِ، فَأَطِيلُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَقْصِرُوا الْخُطَبَ، وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ لَسِحْرًا
