( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ قَالَ:

أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فِي مَسْجِدٍ بِطَائِفَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَلِابْنِ عُمَرَ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْمَسْجِدِ أَرْضٌ يَعْمَلُهَا وَإِمَامُ ذَلِكَ الْمَسْجِدِ مَوْلًى لَهُ وَمَسْكَنُ ذَلِكَ الْمَوْلَى وَأَصْحَابِهِ ثَمَّ، فَلَمَّا سَمِعَهُمْ عَبْدُ اللهِ جَاءَ لِيَشْهَدَ مَعَهُمُ الصَّلَاةَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْمَوْلَى صَاحِبُ الْمَسْجِدِ: تَقَدَّمْ فَصَلِّ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: أَنْتَ أَحَقُّ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ فِي مَسْجِدِكَ مِنِّي فَصَلَّى الْمَوْلَى
