( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ هُوَ ابْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَنَزَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَكَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ مَوَالِيَّ قَرَابَةٌ. فَكَانَ يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ فَيُخَفِّفُ فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَهَكَذَا كَانَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: نَعَمْ وَأَوْجَزَ
