( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَنْبَأَ هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ قَالَ:
ذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِابْنِ سِيرِينَ يَعْنِي: مَا فَعَلَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ: كَانَ الْمَسْجِدُ ضَيِّقًا
