I spent the night in the house of my maternal aunt Maymūnah bint al-Ḥārith, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the ʿIshāʾ prayer, then came to his house and prayed four rakʿahs, then slept. Then he got up and said: "Has the little boy slept?" or a similar expression. Then he stood up to pray, and I stood on his left, so he placed me on his right. He prayed five rakʿahs, then prayed two rakʿahs, then slept until I heard his snoring (ghaṭīṭ) or his snoring (khaṭīṭ). Then he went out to the prayer.
