( أَنْبَأَ ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ السَّمَّاكِ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرْبِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - كَرَّمَ اللهُ وَجْهَهُ - أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
فِي بَوْلِ الرَّضِيعِ: يُنْضَحُ بَوْلُ الْغُلَامِ، وَيُغْسَلُ بَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ

يرويه قتادة عن أبي حرب بن أبي الأسود عن أبيه رفعه هشام بن أبي عبد الله من رواية ابنه معاذ وعبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث عن هشام ووقفه غيرهما عن هشام وكذلك رواه سعيد بن أبي عروبة وهمام عن قتادة موقوفا والله أعلم
machine translationQatādah narrates it from Abū Ḥarb b. Abī al-Aswad, from his father, and Hishām b. Abī ʿAbdillāh traced it back to the Prophet (marfūʿ), in the narration of his son Muʿādh and ʿAbd al-Ṣamad b. ʿAbd al-Wārith from Hishām, while others than the two reported it from Hishām as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). Likewise Saʿīd b. Abī ʿArūbah and Hammām narrated it from Qatādah as mawqūf. And God knows best.
