وَأَنْبَأَ ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ثَنَا الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، ثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ
قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: إِنِّي رَجُلٌ سَرِيعُ الْقِرَاءَةِ، وَرُبَّمَا قَرَأْتُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مَرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ. فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: لَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ سُورَةً وَاحِدَةً أَعْجَبُ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَفْعَلَ مِثْلَ الَّذِي تَفْعَلُ، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ فَاعِلًا لَا بُدَّ فَاقْرَأْهُ قِرَاءَةً تُسْمِعُ أُذُنَيْكَ وَيَعِيهِ قَلْبُكَ
