( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ( قَالَا ): ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا الْعَالِيَةِ حَدَّثَهُ أَوْ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسِ، عَنِ الْخِضَابِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: أُخْبِرُكَ كَيْفَ تَخْتَضِبُ نِسَاؤُنَا، يُصَلِّينَ - يَعْنِي الْعِشَاءَ - ثُمَّ يَرْكَبْنَ الْخِضَابَ فَيَنَمْنَ، فَإِذَا كَانَ صَلَاةُ الصُّبْحِ، نَزَعْنَهُ فَتَوَضَّأْنَ وَصَلَّيْنَ ثُمَّ رَكِبْنَهُ، فَإِذَا كَانَ صَلَاةُ الظُّهْرِ، نَزَعْنَهُ بِأَحْسَنِ خِضَابٍ، فَلَا يُشْغَلْنَ عَنْ وُضُوءٍ، فَإِنَّ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كُنَّ يَخْتَضِبْنَ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ
