  • Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥākim

machine translationA group of the imams narrated it from ʿĀṣim b. Abī al-Najūd, and the jurists have circulated it. However, the two authors of the Ṣaḥīḥ avoid narrations of ʿĀṣim because of his poor memory (sūʾ ḥifẓ), so they recorded it by another route with some of its meaning.

  • Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah

machine translationThis is the best that we have found from ʿĀṣim on this line of transmission.
