أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَنِيعِيٌّ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَشُجَاعُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَا: ثَنَا هُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، أَنْبَأَ حُصَيْنٌ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ:

سَرَيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ فِي سَفَرٍ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ، فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، لَوْ عَرَّسْتَ بِنَا. فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي نَوْمِهِمْ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنَّ اللهَ قَبَضَ أَرْوَاحَكُمْ حِينَ شَاءَ، وَرَدَّهَا عَلَيْكُمْ حِينَ شَاءَ. ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُمْ فَانْتَشَرُوا لِحَاجَتِهِمْ، وَتَوَضَّئُوا، وَارْتَفَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ.
