( وَبِهَذَا ) الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَبَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ جَمِيعًا، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَقَنَتَ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ، وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، وَجَهَرَ بِالدُّعَاءِ،

فأما مسح اليدين بالوجه عند الفراغ من الدعاء فلست أحفظه عن أحد من السلف في دعاء القنوت وإن كان يروى عن بعضهم في الدعاء خارج الصلاة وقد روي فيه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حديث فيه ضعف وهو مستعمل عند بعضهم خارج الصلاة وأما في الصلاة فهو عمل لم يثبت بخبر صحيح ولا أثر ثابت ولا قياس فالأولى أن لا يفعله ويقتصر على ما فعله السلف رضي الله عنهم من رفع اليدين دون مسحهما بالوجه في الصلاة وبالله التوفيق
