أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، أَنْبَأَ مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَتْ لَهُ سَكْتَتَانِ، فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ: مَا أَحْفَظُهُمَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ. فَكَتَبُوا فِيهِ إِلَى أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، فَكَتَبَ أُبَيٌّ أَنَّ سَمُرَةَ قَدْ حَفِظَ. قُلْنَا لِقَتَادَةَ: مَا السَّكْتَتَانِ ؟ قَالَ: سَكْتَةٌ حِينَ يُكَبِّرُ، وَالْأُخْرَى حِينَ يَفْرُغُ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ عِنْدَ الرُّكُوعِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: الْأُخْرَى - يَعْنِي الْمَرَّةَ الْأُخْرَى - سَكْتَةٌ حِينَ يُكَبِّرُ، وَسَكْتَةٌ إِذَا قَالَ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ
