( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ: بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَلْخِيُّ، ثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ:
أَنَّهُ صَلَّى وَكَانَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ يَقْرَأُ، فَجَعَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَنْهَاهُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ: أَتَنْهَانِي عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَنَازَعَا حَتَّى ذَكَرَا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ صَلَّى خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ، فَإِنَّ قِرَاءَةَ الْإِمَامِ لَهُ قِرَاءَةٌ

Saʿd narrated it from Abū Yūsuf, from Abū Ḥanīfah, from Mūsā b. Abī ʿĀʾishah, from ʿAbdullāh b. Shaddād, from Abū al-Walīd, from Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh, so he inserted this Abū al-Walīd between ʿAbdullāh b. Shaddād and Jābir. He is unknown (majhūl) and not recognized, and this hadith of his is not sound.
