The Messenger of Allah ﷺ lagged behind, and I lagged behind with him. When he had relieved himself, he said: "Do you have any water?" So I brought him a vessel of water, and he washed his palms and his face. Then he went to draw back his sleeves from his forearms, but the sleeve of the cloak was too tight, so he brought his hands out from under the cloak and threw the cloak over his shoulders. Then he washed his forearms, and wiped his forelock, and over the turban, and over his leather socks.
