وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:
أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ ؓ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يَقْرَأْ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، وَلَمْ يُكَبِّرْ إِذَا خَفَضَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ، فَنَادَاهُ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ وَالْأَنْصَارُ حِينَ سَلَّمَ: أَيْ مُعَاوِيَةُ، سَرَقْتَ صَلَاتَكَ، أَيْنَ بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ؟ وَأَيْنَ التَّكْبِيرُ إِذَا خَفَضْتَ وَإِذَا رَفَعْتَ ؟ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ صَلَاةً أُخْرَى، فَقَالَ ذَلِكَ فِيهَا الَّذِي عَابُوا عَلَيْهِ
