( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنْبَأَ زَيْدٌ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ:
أَمَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ أَنْ أَسْأَلَ سَعِيدًا أَيْنَ تَكُونُ الْيَدَانِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ فَوْقَ السُّرَّةِ أَوْ أَسْفَلَ مِنَ السُّرَّةِ ؟ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ: فَوْقَ السُّرَّةِ

في هذا الإسناد يحيى بن أبي طالب قال الذهبي في الميزان وثقه الدارقطني وقال فيه موسى بن هارون أشهد أنه يكذب عني في كلامه والدارقطني ممن اعتبر الناس به وقال أبو عبيد الآجري خط أبو داود على حديث يحيى وفيه زيد بن الحباب قال الحافظ في التقريب صدوق يخطئ في حديث الثوري

- Trustworthy (thiqah), firmly reliable (thabt), a jurist (faqīh); his narration from ʿĀʾishah, Abū Mūsā and the like is mursald. 95 AH, from al-Fallās: 94 AHسَعِيد بْن جُبَيْر الْأَسَدِيّثقة ثبت فقيه ، وروايته عن عائشة وأبي موسى ونحوهما مرسلةقال
- Truthful (ṣadūq), except that he practiced concealment (yudallis)d. before 126 AH, or 128 AHأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِصدوق إلا أنه يدلسعن
