A man entered the mosque while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in a corner of the mosque. He prayed, then came and greeted him with salaam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "And upon you be peace. Go back and pray, for you have not prayed." So he went back and prayed, then came and greeted him with salaam. He said: "And upon you be peace. Go back and pray, for you have not prayed." Then on the third occasion, or the one after it, he said: Teach me, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "When you stand up for the prayer, perform the ablution fully, then face the qiblah and say the takbīr, then recite what is easy for you of the Quran, then bow until you are at ease in bowing, then rise until you stand upright, then prostrate until you are at ease in prostration, then rise until you are at ease sitting, then do that throughout all of your prayer."

machine translationʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān narrated it from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, from Saʿīd, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah; this was said from him by Musaddad, ʿAlī b. al-Madīnī, Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal, al-Muqaddamī and ʿAmr b. ʿAlī. Bundār differed from them, narrating it from Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, from ʿUbaydullāh, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah, without saying "from his father." ʿĪsā b. Yūnus, Ibn Numayr, Abū Usāmah, ʿAbd al-Raḥīm b. Sulaymān, ʿAbd al-Aʿlā b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlā, Abū Ḍamrah, ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī, Muḥammad b. Fulayḥ b. Sulaymān and Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd al-Umawī narrated it from ʿUbaydullāh, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar, the brother of ʿUbaydullāh, narrated it from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah, and this is the preserved (maḥfūẓ) version.
