أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْنَا لِابْنِ طَاوُسٍ: كَيْفَ كَانَ أَبُوكَ يَقُولُ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُكَاتِبُ الرَّجُلَ ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ فَتَرِثُ ابْنَتُهُ ذَلِكَ الْمُكَاتَبَ فَيُؤَدِّي كِتَابَتَهُ ثُمَّ يُعْتَقُ ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ ؟ قَالَ: كَانَ يَقُولُ وَلَاؤُهُ لَهَا، وَيَقُولُ: مَا كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ أَنْ يُخَالِفَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَيَعْجَبُ مِنْ قَوْلِهِمْ لَيْسَ لَهَا وَلَاءٌ
