( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ جَدِّي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، ثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ شَيْئًا كُنْتُ أَتَحَنَّثُ بِهِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ؟ قَالَ هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي أَتَبَرَّرُ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَسْلَمْتَ عَلَى صَالِحِ مَا سَلَفَ لَكَ. فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: لَا أَدَعُ شَيْئًا صَنَعْتُهُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لِلهِ إِلَّا صَنَعْتُ لِلهِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ مِثْلَهُ. قَالَ فَكَانَ أَعْتَقَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ مِائَةَ رَقَبَةٍ فَأَعْتَقَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ مِثْلَهَا مِائَةَ رَقَبَةٍ وَسَاقَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ مِائَةَ بَدَنَةٍ وَسَاقَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ مِائَةَ بَدَنَةٍ.
