( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنْبَأَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَ أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ عُمَرُ وَعَلِيٌّ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ؓ، قَالَ: وَأَحْسِبُهُ ذَكَرَ عَبْدَ اللهِ ؓ يَقُولُونَ:
الْوَلَاءُ لِلْأَكْبَرِ
