( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:

حَجَّ بِنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ وَنَحْنُ سَبْعَةٌ وَلَدُ سِيرِينَ فَمَرَّ بِنَا عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَدْخَلَنَا عَلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو سِيرِينَ قَالَ فَقَالَ زَيْدٌ: هَذَانِ لِأُمٍّ وَهَذَانِ لِأُمٍّ ( وَهَذَانِ لِأُمٍّ ) وَهَذَا لِأُمٍّ قَالَ. فَمَا أَخْطَأَ وَكَانَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سِيرِينَ أَخُو مُحَمَّدٍ لِأُمِّهِ
