( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْحُرْفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَبُو سُهَيْلٍ
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ لَهُ: مَا تَرَى فِي الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا قَدَرَ ؟ قَالَ: أَرَى أَنْ يُسْتَتَابُوا فَإِنْ تَابُوا وَإِلَّا ضُرِبَتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ. قَالَ عُمَرُ: ذَاكَ الرَّأْيُ فِيهِمْ لَوْ لَمْ تَكُنْ إِلَّا هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ الْوَاحِدَةُ كَفَى بِهَا فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ إِلا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ
