أَخْبَرَنَاهُ ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَاضِي قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثَنَا أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ:
مَا كَانَ شَيْءٌ أَبْغَضَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْكَذِبِ، وَمَا جَرَّبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى أَحَدٍ كَذِبًا فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ مَا كَانَ حَتَّى يَعْرِفَ مِنْهُ تَوْبَةً
