أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الزَّاهِدُ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْمُنْتَجِعُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، ثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ التَّمِيمِيِّ:
أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ مَا تَعُدُّونَ الْمُرُوءَةَ فِيكُمْ ؟ قَالَ: الْحِرْفَةُ، وَالْعِفَّةُ
