أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ قَالَ: وَهَذَا قَوْلُ حُكَّامِ الْمَكِّيِّينَ وَمُفْتِيهِمْ، وَمِنْ حُجَّتِهِمْ فِيهِ مَعَ إِجْمَاعِهِمْ أَنَّ مُسْلِمًا وَالْقَدَّاحَ أَخْبَرَانِي عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ:

أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ ؓ رَأَى قَوْمًا يَحْلِفُونَ بَيْنَ الْمَقَامِ وَالْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ: أَعَلَيَّ دَمٌ ؟ فَقَالُوا: لَا. قَالَ: فَعَلَيَّ عَظِيمٌ مِنَ الْأَمْوَالِ ؟ قَالُوا: لَا. قَالَ: لَقَدْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ يَبْهَى النَّاسُ هَذَا الْمَقَامَ
