( قَالَ: وَأَنْبَأَنَا ) الشَّافِعِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ الثِّقَةُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ:
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهُوَ عَامِلُهُ عَلَى الْكُوفَةِ: أَنِ اقْضِ بِالْيَمِينِ مَعَ الشَّاهِدِ؛ فَإِنَّهَا السُّنَّةُ قَالَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ: فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ كُبَرَائِهِمْ فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ شُرَيْحًا قَضَى بِهَذَا فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ
