( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ، أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّافِعِيُّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ أَثِقُ بِهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ:
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ لَمَّا جَلَدَ الثَّلَاثَةَ اسْتَتَابَهُمْ، فَرَجَعَ اثْنَانِ، فَقَبِلَ شَهَادَتَهُمَا، وَأَبَى أَبُو بَكْرَةَ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ؛ فَرَدَّ شَهَادَتَهُ
