( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الطِّيبِيُّ، ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِي، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ نُعَيْمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زِيَادَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ الصُّدَائِيَّ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُحَدِّثُ، قَالَ:
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَبَايَعْتُهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ. قَالَ فِيهِ: فَنَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْزِلًا، فَأَتَاهُ أَهْلُ ذَلِكَ الْمَنْزِلِ يَشْكُونَ عَامِلَهُمْ، وَيَقُولُونَ: أَخَذَنَا بِشَيْءٍ كَانَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِهِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ: " أَوَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ؟ ". فَقَالُوا: نَعَمْ. فَالْتَفَتَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ، وَأَنَا فِيهِمْ، فَقَالَ: لَا خَيْرَ فِي الْإِمَارَةِ لِرَجُلٍ مُؤْمِنٍ
