( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ السَّمَّاكِ، ثَنَا حَنْبَلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ:

أَنَّ جَدَّهُ عُمَيْرَ بْنَ حَبِيبٍ، وَكَانَ قَدْ بَايَعَ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ، أَوْصَى بَنِيهِ، قَالَ لَهُمْ: أَيْ بَنِيَّ، إِيَّاكُمْ وَمُخَالَطَةَ السُّفَهَاءِ، فَإِنَّ مُجَالَسَتَهُمْ دَاءٌ، وَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يَحْلُمْ عَنِ السَّفِيهِ، يُسَرَّ بِحِلْمِهِ، وَمَنْ يُجِبْهُ يَنْدَمْ، وَمَنْ لَا يَقَرَّ بِقَلِيلِ مَا يَأْتِي بِهِ السَّفِيهُ، يَقَرَّ بِالْكَثِيرِ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَأْمُرَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، فَلْيُوَطِّنْ نَفْسَهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْأَذَى، وَلْيُوقِنْ بِالثَّوَابِ مِنَ اللهِ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يُوقِنْ بِالثَّوَابِ مِنَ اللهِ لَا يَجِدْ مَسَّ الْأَذَى
